February 21 meeting
Jennifer Badgley is the Political Director for the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) Local 569. IBEW is the oldest and largest union dedicated to electrical workers in the U.S. IBEW Local 569 represents 2500 electrical workers in San Diego and Imperial Counties and in partnership with signatory employers, run a college accredited electrical apprenticeship program with campuses in San Diego and Imperial. At IBEW 569, Jennifer helps unrepresented workers organize into the union. She develops political campaigns and policy strategies aimed at retaining and creating good local careers in the energy industry. She also develops member education and communications programs for electrical workers.
To our club, she will introduce the IBEW 569 and present an overview of project labor agreements.
As you know, our club meets at 6 p.m. for socializing/dining, followed by our speaker at 7 p.m., and our business meeting at 8 p.m. We meet at Coco’s Restaurant, 1025 Fletcher Parkway, El Cajon, CA. We hope to see you at our club meeting on Thursday, February 21.
