August 20th Meeting

I hope that you are ready to return to school after a long, hot summer, on August 20!!!  If not, get ready!  The occasion for this is our next East County Democratic Club (ECDC) meeting.

Chris Prokop, president of the Cajon Valley Union teachers’ group will be our featured speaker!  He will school us well about all matters in the district from his purview as a classroom teacher and as  leader of fellow teachers.  We have heard that some of the teachers are dissatisfied with the many changes now in process at CVUSD.  We will be able to learn what is involved through this presentation,  Please bring any questions that you may have with you on August 20. 

As you know,  our ECDC meets at 6 p.m. for dining and socializing.  Our meeting place is MJ’s Restaurant, 526 North Second Street, El Cajon, CA 92021. The featured cuisine is American, Mexican, and Greek.  At 7 p.m., the meeting at which our featured speaker begins.

Plan to come, bring a friend or two, and get ready to return to school!
