Meeting on Thursday March 15 – Josh Butner

Our East County Democratic Club meets next Thursday, March 15.  Our speaker is Josh Butner, trustee of the Jamul-Dulzura School Board and candidate for the 50th CD seat, now held by non-representative Duncan Hunter.  As you know, Hunter must be replaced, ASAP.

We Democrats plan to do it despite our registration disadvantage!

If you’d like to learn more about Josh’s views prior to the meeting, watch this message posted on his website from Julian Indivisible:  https://joshbutnerforcongress.com/media

El Cajon Councilman Ben Kalasho will also share the latest news on events in the city.

Both men will respond to a few questions, after their comments.

Our evening will begin at 6 p.m., with dining and socializing until 7 p.m.  The venue is Jimmy’s Family Restaurant, 9635 Mission Gorge Road., Santee, CA 92071.  During this period or within the meeting time, a candidate or two may drop by to talk with us.

This is a BIG YEAR for us, since our area is experiencing record-breaking participation in voter contacts.  We invite you to express your interest by doing the same.  We need people to walk precincts, talk to our Democratic Party voters, and encourage them to vote in the primary election on June 5, 2018.

Since this a public meeting, we welcome anyone who wants to attend, so bring yourselves, neighbors, and friends!
